Dorathy Rose (Keena) RAUSH

Dorathy Rose Raush, nee Keena, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Linden Court, Waukesha.   She was born on November 5, 1929 to Walter and Anna (Bufka) Keena of Wauwatosa.  She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Donald H. Raush; her sisters, Barbara and Betty; a brother James and her sons, Ron and Scott Raush.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathleen (Steve) Heine; sons, Roy (Cindy) Raush and Ralph (Beth) Raush; grandchildren, Kristine (Brad) Best, Michael Raush, Susan (Jon) Hay, Donald and James Raush; her great-grandchildren, Shannon, Gunnar and Alexander; other relatives and many friends.

Dorathy lived most of her life in Waukesha but moved to Reno, Nevada in 1983, returning to Wisconsin in 2006.  Dorathy loved the mountains of Washo Valley, NV but loved her family even more.  She was a big dog lover and an avid bowler.  She was the rock of the family and never complained about a thing.  She always stayed positive and would take what life gave her and made the best of it.  Dorathy was an outstanding caregiver to her mother, her children, her grandchildren and her husband when they needed her.  She was a role model in life and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

The family would like to thank the Linden Court staff for the loving care they showed Dorathy.

A family memorial service will be held later this summer at Prairie Home Cemetery.
