Russell Daniel HANSON

Russell Daniel Hanson, age 57, of Fort Atkinson, formerly of Janesville went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Golden Living Center in Fort Atkinson.  Russell was born to Orvan and Ruth (Hofer) Hanson on November 9, 1958 in Janesville, WI at Mercy Hospital.

Russell graduated from Janesville Parker High School in 1978. He worked at several local businesses, most recently at MMPR until his health began to fail.  He enjoyed motocross cycling, golf, bowling, roller skating, and cheering for the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee Bucks, and Wisconsin Badgers.

Russell is survived by his brothers, Robert (Kim) Hanson of Lake Mills, WI and Gary (Lori) Hanson of Janesville; nieces and nephews, Adam Hanson, Autumn Nelson, Lea (Ruben) Delgado, Taylor (John) Haines, Brooke Hanson and Paul Hanson, other family and many good friends.  Preceding Russell in death are his parents, Orvan and Ruth; and a nephew, Alex Nelson.

The family would like to thank Russell’s friend Kathy Sanderson for all the years of loving support, compassion and care she gave him.
