Dennis M. STORCH

Dennis M. Storch, age 76 of Waukesha passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Angels Grace Hospice with his wife at his side.  

Dennis was born on December 20, 1941 in Milladore, WI to Maurice and Esther (Schoenberger) Storch. He married Carol Bassuener on October 5, 1963 in Sherry, WI.  They resided in Stevens Point, WI until they moved to Waukesha in 1964.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carol of Waukesha; two sons, Todd of Wisconsin Rapids and Troy (Pam) of Wales; 4 grandchildren, Tyler, Michael, Carolyn and Julia; his sister-in-law, Donna (Ronald) Deboer and brother-in-law, Jim Bassuener; other relatives and many good friends.

Preceding Dennis in death are his parents, Maurice and Esther.

Dennis’ greatest enjoyment in the early years was activities with his sons.  Youth sports, hunting, fishing and camping were of great importance. For many years he volunteered as a Boy Scout Leader.  He was employed by the Godfrey Co. from 1966 until his retirement in 1996.  After retirement, he and Carol lived in Waukesha in the winter months and Lynxville on the the Mississippi River in the summer months.  Summers were wonderful filled with fishing and boating.

His grandchildren we a definite delight.

Funeral Services for Dennis will be Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 7:00PM at Thelen Funeral Services (W309 S4840 Commercial Drive, North Prairie—NW corner of Hwy 59 and Hwy 83). Memorial gathering will be from 5:00PM until the time of services.  A light reception will follow the service.
