Grace E. (Gole) GROMIUK

Grace E. (Gole) Gromiuk, age 91 of Dousman, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital with her family at her side.  Grace was born on April 20, 1928 in Didsbury, Alberta, Canada to Allen and Anne (Dougan) Gole.  Grace married Alexander (Al) Gromiuk on September 10, 1948.

Grace’s happiest moments were those spent with family.  She also enjoyed having lunch with the good friends she made working for Godfrey Company.  When not with friends and family, Grace enjoyed cooking, reading, listening to Irish music, and sewing.

Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Gromiuk (Bill Owens) of Germantown, her sons, Geoffry (Jacqueline) Gromiuk of Mukwonago and Brian Gromiuk of Dousman; her 6 grandchildren, Brittany, Christopher, Ryan, Nicholas, Alexander and Zachary (Katie); 2 great-grandchildren, Brynlee and Penelope; her 3 brothers, Stan (Eunice) Gole, Jim (Susan) Gole and Herb (Donna) Gole.  Further survived by other relatives and good friends.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alexander in 2004 and her two sisters, Barb and Ruth.

Funeral services for Grace will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 12:30PM at Thelen Funeral Services (W309S4840 Commercial Drive, North Prairie—NW corner of Hwy’s 83 and 59) with Rev. Dan Torkelson officiating.  Visitation for Grace will be from 11:00AM until the time of services at the Funeral Home.  Burial will be at Salem Cemetery in Wales.
