John E “Jack” Brown, age 90 of Waukesha died peacefully on Friday, June 8, 2018. Jack was born on July 17, 1927 to Stanley and Caroline (Hill) Brown in Waukesha, WI. He
married his school sweetheart Joyce Nuss on June 17, 1950 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waukesha.
Jack was very dedicated to his church. He served as a money counter, helping with printing bulletins and the Fall Bazaar. Jack worked for 47 years at Dresser
Industries, Waukesha Division as a tool designer. His hobbies included stamp collecting, wood working, sightseeing, bus tours and camping.
Jack is survived by his daughter, Jerie (Tom) Roder; daughter-in-law, Marge Brown; grandchildren, Adam (Carol) Roder, Tracie (Shannon) Midthun, Heidi (Jon Wicks)
Roder, Patty (Craig) Schmidt, Pam (John Lach) Brown; great-grandchildren, Will & Bryce Roder, Rilyn & Cullen Midthun, Alyssa & Ashlyn Schmidt, Austin & Aiden
Jacques; other relatives and friends.
Preceding Jack are his parents, his wife Joyce, son Jim, step brother Robert Gazinski and a sister Jean.
Funeral Services for Jack will be Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 11:30AM at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church (1052 Whiterock Ave., Waukesha) with Rev. Lawrence Gates
officiating. Followed by military honors and entombment at Prairie Home Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 until the time of services at the church.
Memorial contributions in Jack’s name may be directed to the church and are appreciated.
