Loretta Ann (Kolls) WAGNER

Loretta Ann Wagner, age 84 of Dousman passed away suddenly at her home on Wednesday, December 26, 2018. She was born in Hebron, IL to James and Effie (Wright) Kolls on July 20, 1934.  She married the love of her life, Roland G. Wagner on April 14, 1956 in Illinois.

Loretta attended Carroll College, she loved bowling, rescuing her pet family members, baking, sewing and the Green Bay Packers.  Loretta was employed with Dousman Transport for more than 30 years.  She enjoyed her outdoor activities with Roland and the boys. Activities like hunting, fishing, camping, archery and watching the cardinals in her yard.  Loretta was a social woman who made friends everywhere she went.  Not just acquaintances, friends.  She loved her friends and her home and was given the honor to be there her entire life. She loved her family and friends dearly.

Survivors include her sons: Rich (Cheryl) of Whitewater and Dennis (Jean) of Horicon;  her 3 grandchildren, Nick, Geralyn and Andrew; a brother, Keith (Marylou) Kolls; her precious dog, Smoky; cousins, nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.

Preceding her in death are her parents, James and Effie; her husband, Roland in 2015; 2 brothers, Donald and Richard and an infant daughter, Ann Marie.

A Celebration Gathering for Loretta will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 1:00PM until 4:00PM at the Cornerstone Palmyra Bowl (300 West Main Street, Palmyra).  Her remains will be interred by her husband at the Veterans Cemetery in Union Grove.

Memorial contributions in Loretta’s name are asked to be directed to your local Humane Society and are greatly appreciated.
