Our beloved Dan died on Thursday, November 18, 2021, the victim of a homicide.  Age 35.   Beloved son of Katie (Allen) Pierce and Joao Pizzutti.  Fun loving brother of Bob Pierce (fiancee Cassie).    Loving grandson of Tom and Joan King.    Also loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Growing up in Wisconsin, Dan was full of life.  His life long passion for music and as a voracious reader offered him many adventures with family and friends.  He was a barista in his mother's coffee shop before moving out to Boston for seven years and then to Eugene, OR for the last seven years.

After having worked years in hospitality, looking to improve his life, Dan was a student at Lane Community College.   He will be remembered for his love of concerts and adventures with friends road-tripping to Phish concerts.  He had a big heart and was kind to all.  Dan will remain in our hearts and truly will be missed for the joy he brought to the world.

A Celebration of Life for Dan will be held on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at 2:00PM at Thelen Funeral Services (W309S4840 Commercial Drive, North Prairie--NW corner of Hwy's 83 and 59).   A time of gathering will be held for 1:00PM until the time of the celebration.

The Celebration of Life Service will be streamed on Thelen Funeral Services Facebook page beginning at 2:00PM.
