Donald SAMUELS Obituary

Donald E. Samuels passed away peacefully at Angels Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc on July 12, 2018. He was born on October 21, 1944 in Richmond, Indiana.  He grew up in Eaton, Ohio and later moved to Waukesha, Wisconsin.  He married Sue Kainz on July 13, 1968 and they moved to North Prairie.  They were married for 50 years.

 

He is survived by his wife, Sue and his children, Raquel (Mark) Peters, Andrew (Vicki) Samuels and Scott Samuels.  He is also survived by his grandchildren, Courtney, Tori, Brady, Corbin, Norah and Chloe, whom he loved dearly.  Also survived by his brother, Jim (Judy) Samuels, sister, Donna (Kaye Weinreich) Samuels, his brother-in-law, Toby Crossman, other relatives and many good friends.  

 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Polly Samuels and his sister, Suzanne Crossman.

 

Before Don retired, he was a certified soil tester for many years.  He enjoyed spending time traveling and camping with his wife, children and grandchildren.  He also enjoyed golfing whenever he could and fishing on Lake Erie with his sons and son-in-law.

 

The family will be having a casualCelebration of Life on Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 1:00 to 4:00PM at the Mukwonago Town Hall, S8315 Beulah Road, Mukwonago, WI.

 

A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Waukesha Memorial Hospital and Angels Grace for their wonderful care for Don.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Angels Grace Hospice in Don’s name would be greatly appreciated.
