Donald Charles TREW

Donald C. Trew, age 83 of Oconomowoc, passed away at Angels Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc on Friday, January 10, 2020.  Don was born on November 24, 1936 to Nick Horn and Margaret Ciano in Milwaukee, WI.

Donald was in the US Army as a paratrooper.  That love of flying continued into civilian life as he loved to skydive and was a member of several skydiving clubs.  He also enjoyed the great outdoors: fishing, camping, and in general anything outdoors.  Don was a huge Green bay Packers fan. 

Donald is survived by his children: Donald Trew of Pewaukee, Dan Trew of Norwich, CT and Diane (Bill) Bernhardt of Waukesha; his grandchildren, George Karl Bernhardt, William Charles Bernhardt, Henry Newton Bernhardt and Rhiannon Trew; the mother of his children, Donna Mae Trew of Dousman; his sisters, Dolores (Ken) Bier of Manitowoc and Bobbie (Bob) Stack of Snohomish, WA; other family and many friends.

Preceding him in death are his parents.

Funeral services for Don will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 12:30PM at Thelen Funeral Services (W309S4840 Commercial Drive, North Prairie—NW corner of Hwy’s 83 and 59) with visitation being held from 11:30AM until the time of services.  Burial will take place at Salem Cemetery in Wales, WI.
