Jackie BRANSCOMBE Obituary

Jackie Lyn Branscombe, age 51, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. Jackie was born February 6, 1971, in the Town of Vernon to Leonard and Kathleen (Scholl) Fritz.

Jackie graduated from Mukwonago High School in 1989 and was a state competitor in both gymnastics and track and field. During her time on the women's track team, she set four school records (still standing to this day). She was an amazing athlete and lover of sports. She loved hockey and golf in addition to track and gymnastics.

After graduating from beauty school at Erik of Norway, she began working at Hair N Things. She then moved on to open her own hair studio, Custom Images by Jackie. In 2021, she retired from Signature Salon and Spa, where she worked for more than 20 years. All her clients looked forward to their appointments with Jackie because she always
made them feel special. Jackie had an ability to make each person in her chair feel beautiful inside and out - it was her passion. In addition to taking care of guests, she coached and trained more than 20 stylists at Signature. She had a passion for training the associates to be the best versions of themselves, training them to not only create beautiful hair styles and treat customers with care but also to emulate strength and kindness in life.

So many things brought Jackie joy. Most important to her were her children. Jackie cherished every moment with Devon and Brook. Her children were everything to her and she gave them a beautiful life. She gave them many great experiences and wanted them to experience as much of the world as possible. Everything she did was for them.

Jackie loved being in nature; she was so adventurous. She explored the outdoors through hiking, skiing, camping, four-wheeling, fishing and hunting. She shared these passions with her children and passed down her love for the outdoors. Jackie also enjoyed planting flowers and vegetables each year and cooking with anything she could harvest herself. She was passionate about living off the land and using what the earth provides, and she did it as much as possible. She loved taking pictures of nature and wildlife. Jackie loved to travel. She was always looking for new experiences and places to share with others. She traveled to so many destinations near and far. In recent years, she captured her love for travel in her property in Wisconsin Dells. She enjoyed being able to escape to somewhere beautiful and enjoy the peace of her "happy place."

Jackie was adored by many and she touched so many lives. She had a way of lighting up every room she entered. Jackie was strong, kind, funny, inspiring and loved. She will be missed by all who were blessed to have crossed paths with her.

Jackie is survived by her loving children, Brook and Devon; her mother, Kathleen Scholl-Fritz; her brother, Timothy (Jaki) Fritz; other relatives; and many, many friends and colleagues.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Louis and Joyce Scholl and Eugene and Claire Fritz; and her father, Leonard Fritz.

A Celebration of Jackie's Life will be held in the spring/summer of 2023.
