Jacob Walter Krueger, age 40 of Mukwonago passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024. Jake was born on June 20, 1983 in Waukesha, Wisconsin to Kenneth and Kelly (Aulik) Krueger.
If you know anything about Jake, you know that he had an immense love for his family and friends.
Jake’s early years were spent in the company of his siblings, Jenny and Rachelle, where they forged a bond that would last a lifetime. Jake grew up playing hockey, which was the second love of his life – the first being his amazing parents, (Ken and Kelly). As he grew into adulthood, Jake quickly met the forever love of his life, Becky Bruschnig (Krueger) and together they nurtured a family that grew to include their daughter, Kelsey, and beloved dogs Bengi, Kenny, Sadie, and Dottie.
An avid outdoorsman, Jake’s hobbies reflected his deep love for nature and the simple pleasures of life. His love of fishing, boating, and snowmobiling were not just pastimes but a means to connect with nature and those he loved. His famous massive bonfires were a highlight of many family & friend gatherings, and his daughter will cherish his teachings on the lakes edge for years to come. Jake always loved teaching his daughter something new and he would be the first to tell you that his daughter was his favorite fishing buddy - with his dad (Ken) following as a close second.
Jake’s commitment to his family and friends was unwavering. If any one of them ever needed anything, he would be the first one there to help. He loved helping others and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.
Jake loved being surrounded by family and friends – he always had an attitude of “the more the merrier”. And when everyone was together, he could always be counted on to make sure everyone was having the time of their life. Jake had a smile that lit up the room and a laugh that was contagious. He will be profoundly missed.
Jake’s legacy is carried on through his family, whom he loved with every fiber of his being.
Jake is survived by his wife, Becky; his daughter, Kelsey Ann; his parents, Ken and Kelly Krueger; his mother-in-law, Darlene Lindheimer; his father-in-law, David Bruschnig; his sisters, Rachelle (Brenton Houle) Krueger and Jennifer (Benjamin) Hawley; His Godparents, Patricia Crouch and Laura Apkarian; his nephews, Scott Hawley and Brenton Houle, Jr.; other relatives and many friends.
