Jeanita F. (Dahlberg) FILIPAK

Jeanita F. (Dahlberg) Filipak, age 97 of Genesee, WI passed away with her family at her side on Saturday, August 6, 2022.  Jeanita was born on January 17, 1925 in Danbury, WI to Carl and Betsy (Pike) Dahlberg.

Jeanita was a selfless woman always thinking of others before herself.  She was a giver, never looking for anything in return.  She loved to play the piano and did so into her mid 90’s.  She loved sewing, knitting, playing cards, reading but most of all she loved her grandchildren.  The brightest part of her day was her great-granddaughter calling her Grandma.  Jeanita was a long time member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her son, Stanley (Lynn) Filipak; her grandchildren, Joseph (Jana) Filipak, Scott Filipak, Kelly (Kyle) Heyrman and Keith Filipak; her great-grandchild, Naya; her sisters, Mary Myhre, Thea Cole and Christine Hilbert; other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Stanley; her brothers, Carl, George and Gus Dahlberg and her sister, Marge Skeens.

Funeral Services for Jeanita will be on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 12:00 (noon) at Bethlehem Lutheran Church (470 North Oak Crest Drive, Wales, WI) with Pastor Neil Rand officiating.  The visitation will be from 10:00AM until the time of the services.

In lieu of other forms of sympathy, memorial contributions can be directed to Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
