Joann Wysocki, 83, of Genesee was surrounded by her loving family as she passed into eternal life on October 15, 2021. She was born to Joseph and Anna Bawiec in Milwaukee on October 29, 1937 where later she graduated from Pulaski High School with honors.
On September 15, 1956 she married John Wysocki (passed away December 2, 2015) and moved to Port Washington and then to Fence, Wisconsin. Together they ran a beef cattle farm and had 500 chickens while also raising their 4 children Vicki (Paul) Schubring, June Gardiner, Debra Wysocki (Diana Sokolewicz) and Eric Wysocki. On the farm she had large gardens and did a lot of canning and preserving, selling eggs and was the Town Clerk. She was a talented artist who had her own ceramic shop which included pouring molds and teaching painting lessons. She was a dedicated Christian who read the Bible daily and learned technology to participate in Bible Studies during the last year and a half.
She enjoyed traveling which included trips to Egypt, Jerusalem, Greece and the Caribbean. She traveled with family to Branson, Florida, Las Vegas and Myrtle Beach enjoying live shows that frequently included Elvis. She enjoyed playing cards, making meals and baking for her family, visiting the cabin up north, taking rides in the neighborhood on her scooter, watching the Packer games and other shows together.
She is further survived by her grandchildren Martin (Tabitha) Whitmer and Lisa Whitmer and her great grandchildren Lincoln Whitmer and Paige Whitmer.
Preceding her in death are her parents and her brother, Joseph Bawiec.

A memorial service for Joann will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 12:00 (noon) at Thelen Funeral Services with a visitation time from 11:00AM until the service begins.
