Louis John Nowak II (54 yrs old) of Palmyra WI, has lost his battle to Cancer on March
19, 2023. Louis was born July 2, 1968 in Hinsdale IL, to John and Bonnie Nowak.
Louis worked for MediCare Ambulance for 25 years doing Children's Hospital Critical Care Transport, then started with Lakeland Coach Lines as a School Bus Driver which gave him the ability to start out in his own business of Ooie's Paint & Tile, with handyman specialties.
Louis's first marriage was to Jennifer Miller of Hartland, WI. He later married Sara Cartwright of Palmyra, WI in 2017.
Louie enjoyed spending time with family and friends, tinkering on engines & motors, going to swap meets, camping, classic cars, and classic rock music. Louie loved being "Up North," surrounded by his children & friends at the dinner table, a cup of coffee or a jack & coke in his hand. Louie would always be there to lend a helping hand, or to have a great conversation.
Louis is survived by wife Sara, his parents John & Bonnie Nowak of Palmyra, father and mother-in-law Randal & Patricia Cartwright, father to Stephen(Abby) and Matthew(Lillian) Nowak of Eagle, bonus father to Stephen(Katelyn), Brooke(Nick), Hunter, & Austin Kowalski, brother to
Mary Nowak of Romeoville IL, brother in law to Adam(Myra) and Allen Cartwright, uncle
to Kimberly(Brent) Hoffeld, Amber(Mike) Ringley, Annalise & Aislinn Cartwright, great uncle to Landon, Ayden, & Nathaniel Hoffeld, along with many other loving extended family & friends.
Louis is also proceded in death by his grandparents Louis John Nowak I (Bapa), Mary Ann Nowak (Mame), grandpa Hogrefe, his favorite uncle Stephen, grandfathers-in-law Richard Cartwright and Richard Meindel.
Celebration of life services for Louie will be held on Saturday April 1st at Thelen Funeral Services (W309S4840 Commercial Drive, North Prairie/Genesee—NW corner of Hwy’s 83 and 59) with visitation starting at 9AM and going until the time of service at noon.
In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy the family asks that any memorials be directed to them for distribution at a later date.
