Marilynn A. (Gardner) STOCKS

Marilynn A. (Gardner) Stocks, age 66 of Dousman passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Aurora-St. Lukes Medical Center, Milwaukee.  Marilynn was born on June 23, 1954 in Milwaukee, WI to Ross and Winifred (Canaday) Gardner.  She married the love of her life Peter E. Stocks on September 23, 1972 in Greenfield, WI.

Marilynn took extreme joy in spending time with her grandchildren, husband and her dog Ginger.   Marilynn enjoyed taking joy rides with grandkids in her “doodle bug” around her yard at home.   She enjoyed spending time in Galena, IL and her sister’s farm in Elroy, WI.   Marilynn loved making crafts, cooking, baking and making frosty paws.     Enjoyed taking day trips with her beloved husband and shopping.   Enjoyed rummaging and decorating for the holidays.

Marilynn is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Pete; her daughter, Heather Hall; her son, Peter Stocks; her granddaughter, Haley Bartell; her grandsons, Dustin Bartell, Weston and Sawyer Stocks; sisters, Janine “Lucy” Thornsen, Lorlee Sindicic, Kelly Howard, Kathy Ard; her brother, Larry Gardner; sister-in-law, Donna Gardner; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Preceding her in death are her parents and her brother, Michael Gardner.

A visitation for Marilynn will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 2:00PM until the time of the services at 4:30PM at Thelen Funeral Services, W309S4840 Commercial Drive, North Prairie, WI.—NW corner of Hwy’s 83 and 59, with Rev. Ken Brummel officiating.

Per CDC Guidelines and the WI Mask Mandate the family asks that

you adhere to the social distancing and mask wearing rules that are in place.  

Memorial contributions in Marilynn’s name may be directed to Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation or to Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.

Thank you to the ICU staff at St. Luke’s; especially Alexa the third shift nurse,  Aurora Physician’s and all of our friends and family who have supported the family through prayer and thoughts.
