Melissa Jean (Bahr) WARREN

Melissa Jean (Bahr) Warren, age 45 of Whitewater, died after complications from a massive stroke in Las Vegas on Monday, July 26, 2021. Melissa was born on August 29, 1975 in Waukesha to Charles “Butch” Bahr III and Rita Meeks. 

Melissa Jean Warren (née Bahr) was a devoted mother to her loving son, Dillon. She enjoyed hiking the Kettle Moraine with Dillon and her boyfriend Corey. Gardening was a form of relaxation for her. Melissa enjoyed cooking and baking, usually competing with her sisters for the most delicious dish - even if they didn't know it was a competition. She adored spending time with her family. Melissa always had a smile on her face with a bubbly personality & contagious laughter to match. Everyone that met Melissa instantly loved her. Most thought of her as a kind soul with a huge heart. She was loved very much by many people, to know her was to love her. The world was a better place with her in it and she will be dearly missed.

She is survived by: her son, Dillon Warren; her longtime boyfriend, Corey Redmond: her father, Charles (Denise) Bahr III; her mother, Rita (Richard) Garcia; her sisters, Rebecca (Christopher) Reimer, Theresa Bahr, Amanda (boyfriend, Kaleb Rose) Bahr, Vanessa Bahr and Angela (Adam) Long; her nieces, Nevaeh and Harper Rainey; other relatives and many, many friends. 

Preceding her in death are her paternal grandparents, Charles “Bud” (Janet) Bahr Jr. and maternal grandparents, Marvin (Sharon) Meeks and Les (Marylin) Schachtner. 

Funeral services for Melissa will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 3:00PM at Thelen Funeral Services (W309S4840 Commercial Drive, North Prairie/Genesee—NW corner of Hwy’s 83 and 59). Memorial visitation will be on Saturday from 12:00 (noon) until the services at 3PM.
