Michael Brian Trease, age 54 of Mukwonago passed away with his family by his side at his home on Saturday, November 25, 2023. Mike was born on March 30, 1969 in Milwaukee to Jack and Evelyn (Wink) Trease. He married the love of his life Monique Garrison on December 5, 1992 at St. Matthias Church.
First and foremost to Mike was his family. Closely second was his loyalty and devotion to a great number of exceptional friends. Mikes third family included tradesmen, home owners and Belman Homes that he worked alongside. Most would say Mike was one of a kind, hardworking, and deservingly proud of his trade. Mike is best known as the number one Packer fan with Milwaukee Brewers and Bucks devotion. A real outdoors enthusiast, Mike enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time in the Northwood’s of WI. Mike was a genuine, thoughtful person that just wanted everyone to have a good time and make the most out of life. Mikes exceptional strength throughout his more than 7 year cancer battle earned him the “Mike Strong” nickname. He inspired others by, even in the hardest of times, making light of the pain and staying focused on the good. According to Mike, the party is not over, so please join us in the celebration of his life.
Survivors include his wife of almost 31 years, Monique; his two children, Caitlin Christine (Jordan Fagan) Trease and Adam Michael Trease; his mother, Evelyn (Gunther) Wink Trease Bruckner; his brother Randy Trease and sister Lisa (Eric) Dahlgren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death was his father, Jack Trease.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated for Mike on Friday, December 1, 2023 at 4:00PM at St. James Catholic Church (830 East Veterans Way, Mukwonago) with Fr. Jordan Berghouse officiating. A memorial visitation for Mike will be held at the church on Friday from 2:00PM until the time of the mass. A Celebration of Life will follow.
