Michael “Butch” Wallk was born September 3, 1957 to Hilda and Michael Wallk.
He entered into the arms of our loving Savior Jesus Christ at the age of 63 on December 9, 2020 with his beloved children at his side.
After being born again around 1994, he took on one purpose which was to save as many souls as he could. Butch had a heart of generosity. On many occasions, he would win bag fulls of stuffed toys from the claw machine and hand them out to children at local parks.
He hand crafted wooden keychains that said, “I love you, Jesus” and handed those out as well. Butch found peace in gospel music and enjoyed recording cassette tapes of Youth Christian contemporary music and distributed them within his neighborhoods and to friends and family.
Butch composed a “Letter”, a gospel of his newfound Salvation, and made thousands of copies in which he left in public places in Milwaukee with the faith his words and teachings would reach whom they were meant.
As if he were a millionaire, he handed out money to those he felt needed it more than he. His considerate and humane nature was admired by all it touched.
Butch loved his children, grand children, nieces and nephews dearly. He enjoyed many recreational hobbies with the kids, including: fishing, sledding, roller blading, bike riding, kite flying and countless trips to Lake Park. Butch’s beloved Rottweiler dog, Sheba, was always his loyal companion.
Butch is survived by his brothers, Chris and Joey (Kerri), his children, Jesse (Peggy), Sarah, and Cassie (James), his grandchildren, Gabi, Jesse Jr, Jake, Josiah, and many adored nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Mike, mother Hilda, his sister Susan, his son Michael, and his niece Natalie.
this quote was often said by Butch:
“Hold your tongue, reveal your wisdom”
