Nancy L. Schwochert (nee Bagnall), 80, of Mukwonago, formerly of Milwaukee, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on January 12, 2023.
Nancy was born May 27, 1942, in Sturgeon Bay, WI to Wendell and Vada (nee Wanke) Bagnall.
She graduated from Elkhorn High School in 1959. She married Daniel H. Schwochert on November 9th, 1963. They were married for 47 years until his passing on February 9, 2011. She was retired from Waste Management where she worked for many years. Her greatest joy was spending time in Door County with family and friends.
She is survived by her sons Jeffrey F. (Monique) Schwochert, James W (Dena) Schwochert and son-in-law Kurt (Christine Belle) Neumann. Dear Grandma to Matthew, Kristopher, and Luke (Abby) Neumann, Robert Belle, Samantha (Joe) Webb, Alysa Schwochert, Bailey Schwochert, Brandon (Amanda) Goelz and Shayne Goelz. Further survived by two great grandchildren, Brayden and Grayson Goelz, brothers Thomas (Pam) Bagnall, John (Sue) Bagnall, sisters Kay Leamon, Debra (William) Gronowski, brother- in-law Paul Schwochert, sisters-in-law Rita Campbell and Nancy Bagnall, nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband, Dan, her beloved daughter, Loree A. Schwochert-Neumann, parents Wendell and Vada (nee Wanke) Bagnall, brother Charles Bagnall, sister Bonnie Bagnall, and brother's in-law Marvin Werts & Bobby Leamon.
A private burial will be held March 3rd at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
There will be a Celebration of Nancy’s life with family and friends on May 20 at the Delafield American Legion Post 196 333 N. Lapham Peak Rd. Delafield, WI. 53018 between the hours of 1:00 Pm to 7:00 Pm
