Pamela KILMER Obituary

Pamela Ann (Balthazor) Kilmer, age 62 of Waukesha passed away with her daughters at her side.  Pam was born on April 20, 1961 in Milwaukee to Jerome and Beverly (Smitham) Balthazor.

Pam was ecstatic to become a grandma and was devoted to her little trio.  She was notorious for having sleepovers that included shopping trips, ice cream and movies.  She spoiled them rotten and was happy to do so.

All Pam’s life, she was crafting and creating.  From homemade outfits that Ashley rocked in the 80s to a plethora of knitted socks that mysteriously found their way into Adriane’s drawer, Pam was most contented when she had a project in front of her.  Since her illness, Pam has been a prolific creator of diamond art.  She shared this interest with her baby sister.  These are now family treasures.

Pam spent a portion of her life in Portland Oregon and reveled in the Pacific Northwest.  So many adventures were had, from camping on the coast, to caving at Mount St. Helen’s to hiking the various falls.  Pam’s laissez faire spirit fit right in.

Pam discovered computers in the early 90s and was fascinated with them.  She took computers apart and put them back together and played with all sorts of operating systems.  This fascination eventually became Pam’s career and she spent just shy of 20 years with ProHealth working in the IT world.

Pam’s faith exploded in 2020, after an extended illness which completely altered her life.  Her faith sustained her throughout her illness and gave her great comfort.

Pam loved her animals.  Throughout the years she had many, but her beloved sweet puppies, Ariel, Bingo and Chance, were waiting in heaven for her.

Surviving Pam are her daughters, Adriane Christine Schutte and Ashley Nicole (Andrew) Oetlinger; her grandchildren, Kenna and David Schutte and Owen Oetlinger; her mother, Beverly Weaver; her two sisters, Diane (James) Zentgraf and Brooke Valentine; her brother, Brian (Melissa) Balthazor; her nieces, Robyn (Amanda) Zentgraf, Nicole (Zack) Sukys and Sydney Sawatzke; her ex-husband, Kevin Kilmer; other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death are her infant daughter, Nicole Seever; her father, Jerome Balthazor; her step-father, Lewis Weaver; her sister and best friend, Amy Balthazor.
