Ronald Meredith JENKINS

Ronald M. “Ronnie” Jenkins, age 88, of North Prairie, Born to Eternal Life Saturday, December 22, 2018. Ron was born on July 15, 1930 to Archie and Dilys (Meredith) Jenkins in Waukesha, WI.  He married Gertrude Love on September 21, 1996 in Waukesha.

Ron was a proud dairy farmer, and raised and showed many champion guernseys.  His farm, Spring Ridge Farm, has been in the family for generations.  He loved talking with everybody, and was always ready with a joke.  He was a member of the North Prairie United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: his wife, Trudy; sister, Elizabeth (Dennis) Mahy of Portage;  brother-in-law, Herman Riedasch; nephew, Tom (Connie) Riedasch of Neenah, WI; nieces, Meredith (Dan) Gall of Iowa City, IA and Patti (Mark) Winter of Franklin, WI; great nephews and niece, Nick Winter and Nathan Gall and Cassie Winter; sister-in-law, Pat Pax; dear friends, Doug and Cathy Batzler; other relatives and friends.

Preceding Ron in death are his parents and his sister, Jean Riedasch.

Funeral services for Ron will be on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 11:00AM at the North Prairie United Methodist Church (107 North Main Street, North Prairie, WI) with visitation from 9:00AM until the time of services.  Burial will take place at Jerusalem Cemetery in Wales following.  

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to North Prairie United Methodist Church or the charity of your choice.
