Sandra Eileen (Schaar) SCHAAR-NIELSEN

In loving memory of Sandra Schaar-Nielsen, 70, who passed away peacefully with loving family on Monday, June 7th, 2021. 

She was surrounded by love and prayers from her Children, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and loved ones.

Sandy was born on May 9th, 1951, in Chicago, Illinois.  She was the sixth of thirteen children of Charles and 

Dorothy (Michels) Schaar. She grew up in Chicago where she graduated from Carmel High. 

She worked in the Medical Record field for over twenty years at Waukesha Memorable Hospital and was 

an amazing Army wife to Theodore Nielsen.   

She is survived by her cherished brothers, Chuck, John, Rich, Jerry, Mark, Greg, and Larry, 

treasured Sisters: Roxann, Sharon, Mary, Fran, and JoAnn.  

beloved children, Eric, Jacob, Lisa, and Christopher, 

loving Grandchildren, Kalli, Casandra, Karina, Christina, Erica, Karl, Romeo, Isaac, Ava, Kayla, Nicholas, Alexander, and Sophia, 

and  her beautiful Great-Grandchildren Kalea, Avery, Geonny, Macey, Angel, Mary and Nikolai.

    Sandy prided herself by being a wonderful loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother.  

Her gift was her unwavering love.  She touched each one of our lives with her smile, generosity, 

and will be forever remembered as the rock that never moved when we needed her.

A memorial visitation is planned for Sandy on Friday, June 18, 2021 from 2:00PM until 3:00PM.

Memorial Service will be at 3:00PM all to be held at Thelen Funeral Services, with Fr. Dan Volkert officiating. 

A fellowship reception to follow the service.
