Shannon Kay Follett, age 37, passed away on December 20, 2021. Shannon was born on September 10, 1984 in Waukesha, WI to Timothy and Mary (Herbst) Follett.
Shannon’s last, self-less act was that of donation. She gave of herself so others may have a better life.
Shannon earned a certificate in Baking/Pastry from WCTC. She was passionate about baking and dreamed of one day owning a food truck with her younger sister. She enjoyed being outdoors and going on adventures. She found great joy in taking care of her plants and relished being in nature. Some of the best memories with her were the family camping trips, even when it was pouring rain. She shared a passion for listening to Tom Petty with her older sister. She was known for her love of Betty Boop. Above all, Shannon was a free spirit and loved to dance and be silly with her kids. Nothing made her happier than when she was with them and she had a special bond with each of her children.
Survivors include: her parents, Tim and Mary Follett; her children, Mariah, Caleb and Audrianna Kovacs; her sisters, Tina (Jason) Gudwer and Leah (Tyler) Bell; her nieces, Aliyah, Eliana and Vada; her best friend, Lauren Rozinski; other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death are her maternal and paternal grandparents and the father of her children, Brandon Kovacs.
