Sharon Schultz Obituary

Sharon Lynn Schultz (Carlson), age 60, of Genesee Depot, Wisconsin, passed away from Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer on Saturday, February 24. She was born on October 7, 1963 in Waukesha, Wisconsin to Gordon and Therese Carlson. She is survived by her husband, Mark Schultz, her son Dan (Sarah), and her grandchildren, Ellsie and Leo. She is also survived by her siblings Kenneth, Doreen (William), Debra, Robert, Richard (Lynn), and Catherine (Peter), as well as her beloved dogs, Tug and Lucas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Therese and Gordon Carlson.

Sharon was a 1981 graduate of Kettle Moraine High School in Wales, Wisconsin. Sharon had a strong work ethic and spent the majority of her career as a manager for Henry Schein Dental for 30 years before retiring in April of 2023.

Sharon had many interests and hobbies; but none brought her more joy than being surrounded by family and friends. Sharon was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister, daughter, and friend.  Whether around a campfire, playing with the dogs, or sharing stories on the deck, Sharon was always found smiling and laughing. When she was young, Sharon loved riding horses and playing softball and billiards.  Later on, her hobbies became traveling up north,  fishing, camping, and enjoying the outdoors.

Sharon’s kindness and compassion was contagious and spread to all that knew and loved her. Brave and courageous doesn’t begin to define her final year. She made the best of every day with optimism and a smile. She taught us all to always find the silver lining, no matter how small.
