Sharon (Wachniak) WOLF

Sharon Wolf, age 67, passed into eternal life on January 20, 2021 at Aurora-St. Lukes Medical Center, Milwaukee.  Sharon was born on September 11, 1953 in Milwaukee, WI to Leonard and Rosemary (Gmirek) Wachniak.  

Sharon was a long time Emergency Room RN and Director of Ambulatory Care at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital.  She was fond of the outdoors, she enjoyed boating in Door County, tending to her many wildflower gardens, enjoying a good book and a bloody mary with her many friends.  Ambitious in her retirement, she took on many outdoor projects at their house and even became well-versed in the mechanical operation of the lawn equipment.  Special thanks to her brother Mike for assisting her with these projects. 

Sharon is survived by her husband James Wolf; her children, Kelly (Steve) Rooney and Tim (Ryan) Scheuerell; her step-daughters, Lisa (Boyd) Dittmer and Suzanne (Jason) Schliepp; her grandchildren, Ambryn Dittmer, Lexi Schliepp, Aiden and Tillman Schliepp, Brielle Scheuerell and Stafford Scheuerell; siblings, RoseAnn St. Louis, Michael Wachniak and Leonard (Kelly) Wachniak; other relatives and many friends.

A memorial “drive thru” visitation for Sharon will be held at the family residence in Delafield on February 6, 2021 from 11:00AM until 3:00PM.  Come and share the stories and memories you have of Sharon and share one last toast with her.
