Victoria A. (Osterkorn) HENNING

Victoria A. Henning (Osterkorn), age 92 passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at Azura Memory Care, Oconomowoc.  Victoria was born on November 21, 1930 in Milwaukee to Ludwig and Victoria (Ungelehrt) Osterkorn.   She married Walter Henning on November 24, 1967 at Holy Cross Church in Milwaukee.

Victoria enjoyed doing word puzzles and playing scrabble and other card games.  She also enjoyed doing needlepoint, cross-stitch and embroidery.  She was very involved in Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church in West Allis. 

Surviving Victoria are her nieces and nephews, Linda (Michael) Kartaly, Steve (Susan) Hawley,

John (Julieta) Hawley, Peggy Henning and Jane (Dick) Riege; her great-nieces and nephews, Kristin (Vince) Mirenda, Jessica (Jonathan) Marten, Ben (Jenny) Hawley, Kate Hawley, Andrew (Krista) Hawley, Alex Hawley, David Libby, John  Michael Hawley; great-great nieces and nephews, Grace, Rowan, Keeley, Scott, Kaleb; her cousin, Hilda (Ernst) Birkmayer and other relatives in Germany; she is also survived by many friends.

Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Walter Henning and her sister, Agnes Hawley.

Funeral services for Victoria will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 11:30AM at Thelen Funeral Services (W309S4840 Commercial Drive, North Prairie).  Visitation will be held from 10:00AM until the time of services.  Private family burial will be held at a later date.
